This is the TPA (Two-Pole-Active) filter, created to thoroughly address the shortcomings of older filters like HEPA. While HEPA filters can only capture particles and bacteria 0.3 microns and larger, Airdog filters can handle particles as small as 0.0146 microns. Additionally, while HEPA filters need to be replaced periodically, Airdog filters can be easily washed with water and reused.

AQI and CO2 Measurement

Beyond measuring the AQI (Air Quality Index), which is the most common indicator of air pollution today, the Airdog X8D also features a sensor that can measure CO2 levels in the air. This capability allows users to get a more accurate assessment of indoor air pollution, enabling appropriate actions for treatment and prevention. The delay in measuring air pollution indicators with the Airdog X8D air purifier is very low. It seems that just turning on the machine gives you an accurate real-time pollution level.
